The zucchini vegetable is low in calories and contains good amount of folate, potassium, manganese and vitamin A.

Peas are starchy, but high in fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals.
This recipe makes roughly 10-12 chapatis.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups wholewheat flour/multi grain flour
- 1 zucchini (summer squash)
- 1/4 Cup green peas
- Water (as required)
- 2 Tbsp of yogurt/curd or milk
- 2 Garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp ajwain seeds (vamu/oma)
Preparation method:
v Wash
the whole zucchini and cut it into pieces.
v Microwave
or boil the green peas.
v Put the zucchini, peas, garlic and ajwain
seeds in the grinder/mixer and make soft paste.
v Prepare of soft dough with wheat flour, salt,
zucchini and peas paste, yogurt or milk
and water. The secret of soft chapatis lies in the kneading. Add water as required and
continue to knead till you get the right consistency. After it is done, cover and set it aside for 10 minutes to rest. Divide the dough into equal portions and make medium
sized balls of it. Roll between your palms, applying a gentle pressure, till the balls are smooth and without any cracks.
v Take one dough ball
and roll it into chapati, lightly coat wheat flour on both sides to prevent the dough from sticking as you roll the chapati. You can use flat bread maker/roti maker to make chapatis.
v Heat a pan on a medium flame and put the rolled out chapati on it to cook, sprinkle little oil. When both sides are cooked well with brown spots on it, transfer it to the serving plate.
