Cracked
wheat/broken wheat (Godhuma rava in
telugu) is not processed one, so it is
good source of fiber. Preparing Upma
with this for breakfast is a healthy option. I have added veggies to
make it more nutritious and healthy.
Ingredients:
Cracked
wheat - 1 cup (roasted)
Mixed vegetables - 1 cup (carrot, beans, peas)

Then add all the vegetables and cook it further for 4-5 minutes.
Now add 5 cups of water, required salt, chopped cilantro and
bring it
to boil.
Then simmer the flame and
add roasted rava slowly,
with continuous stirring to
prevent it from forming lumps.
Place the
lid and cook on low flame, stirring in between, till
all the water has evaporated and it becomes soft.
Hot Upma
is ready to serve. Eat with your
favourite chutney.
